A FastTrack-inspired audit of your implementation design—so you can catch risks early, avoid expensive rework, and protect your go-live. In 1–2 weeks, we produce a board-ready report: what’s working, top risks, and the “stop-the-line” issues to remediate now.
Not affiliated with Microsoft. We apply proven best practices aligned with the Success by Design approach.
You’ll get a comprehensive report that clearly shows:
- What’s working well
- What’s risky or missing
- What must be fixed immediately before go-live
- Best-practice guidance + a practical remediation plan
- A rollout strategy you can execute with confidence
This mirrors the intent of Microsoft’s Solution Blueprint Review workshop: validate high-level scope/design concepts and identify risks early.

What “done” means
FastTrack is excellent, but it’s available only to eligible customers and requires meeting a minimum annual Dynamics 365 investment/spend.
Dr Dynamics is the cost-effective independent assurance option when you:- Don’t meet FastTrack eligibility (or don’t want to wait for it)- Want an independent second opinion on what your partner is doing- Need a clear risk report before the project becomes “too late to change”- Want external pressure that saves you from a painful missed go-live
Ideal timing: before design sign-off / before build accelerates / 8–16 weeks pre-go-live / before the next rollout wave.
Who this is for
- CFO / Finance Director who needs confidence in controls + close + compliance
- Programme leadership who needs an objective view of risks and readiness
- IT/Architecture leads who want integration/data/testing reality checks
- Companies preparing for an ERP implementation or a rollout wave
- Teams seeing scope drift, customisation debt, or go-live uncertainty
FAQ
Look through the answers to the most popular questions of our customers. Didn’t find what you need? Just send us a request and we will get in touch with you shortly.
Are you Microsoft / FastTrack?
No. We’re independent. We align to best practices and Success by Design principles, but we are not a Microsoft program.
Will you replace our implementation partner?
No. We review, de-risk, and advise. If you want, we can support remediation sprints too.
Will this slow the project down?
It usually speeds it up—because it prevents expensive rework and late-stage surprises.
How do I know if my Dynamics 365 project is off track?
Common warning signs include slipping milestones that get re-baselined quietly, a rising defect backlog with no clear burn-down, design decisions taken late in build, vague go/no-go criteria, limited integration or performance testing in the plan, and a program team that talks more about status reports than blockers. If two or three of these feel familiar, an independent review is cheaper than a reset.
What does an independent D365 implementation review cover?
A focused review typically looks at programme governance, scope control, solution architecture, data migration strategy, integration design, security model, test strategy, cutover plan and go-live readiness. The output is a prioritised findings report with clear severity levels, concrete recommendations and a pragmatic remediation plan — not a 200-slide deck.
How long does a Dynamics 365 advisory review take?
A targeted review of a specific workstream (for example cutover, integration, or data migration) usually takes one to two weeks. A full solution and readiness review for a medium enterprise programme typically takes three to four weeks. Emergency reviews can be compressed when a go-live is imminent.
Can you help rescue a failing D365 implementation?
Yes. Recovery work starts with an honest diagnosis: what is actually broken — scope, architecture, data, people, or partner delivery — and in what order it needs fixing. We then agree a recovery roadmap with the steering group, stabilise the most critical risks, and either run the recovery directly or coach your existing team through it.
What is a Dynamics 365 go-live readiness assessment?
It is a structured check of whether the solution, data, users, infrastructure, support model and business processes are genuinely ready to cut over. It looks at open defects, test coverage, cutover plan, hypercare model, rollback options and business sign-off. The goal is a clear, defensible go or no-go recommendation.
Do you advise on Dynamics 365 vendor and partner selection?
We help clients write realistic RFPs, evaluate partner proposals beyond the slideware, pressure-test delivery approaches, and understand where a bid is likely to hurt them later. We do not take partner referral fees, which keeps the advice genuinely independent.
